As a Registered Play Therapist, I use a variety of tools during play therapy sessions. I subscribe to a hybrid approach using client-centered and directive therapy. Some of the tools include: sand tray play, expressive art activities, bibliotherapy, the use of puppets, and a variety of mindfulness activities. Children are working through issues such as anger, anxiety, emotional dysregulation, loss, grief, ADHD, and a variety of behavioral issues. The child can express their inner world through their natural language of play.

Do you ever feel you wish your child was born with a manual? I certainly did feel that way when my two daughters were born! I walk alongside parents to shepherd through some of the hardest years of raising children. In 5 sessions, we explore a variety of topics such as love languages, attachment styles, boundaries, discipline, brain development, diet, and nutrition. Parents walk away with individually tailored tools to put into place. Click here for more details.
Fee: Five 60-minute sessions/$975

As a former K-12 School Counselor, I see my role as part of the team to come alongside a family and my client. I can join an S-team Meeting, a 504 Meeting, an IEP Meeting, and/or a Parent Teacher Conference. Whether it is just for support or to help develop a behavior plan, I believe it does take a village to support children.
Fee varies depending on travel time.
