About Tricia Thornton

Tricia’s Mission

Tricia is passionate about helping individuals through their healing journeys – whether clients of her practice, readers of her book, listeners at one of her public speaking events or followers on social media. She equips parents with the tools they need to support and model healthy emotional strategies for their struggling children. Her mastery of play therapy allows her to "hear" and "speak reassurance" to even the youngest patients, using their natural language - play. Her previous experience as a school counselor gives her an in depth understanding of school settings and equips her to bring together the key adults in a child's life to create a holistic experience. Her personal experience with trauma a as a child and understanding the blessing from fear gives her a passion for helping little ones who struggle with big feelings.
